The Parenting Adventure

Jan Mathers, author of "Finding Adventure in the Ordinary-Survival Tips for Parenting", shares fun ideas any mom can use as well as what has made a difference in her life.  Entertainment will be by BB High School Vocal Ensemble.  It will be on Sunday, September 9th, at 2:00 PM at the Broken Bow Country Club.  The cost is $10 (which includes dessert).  Please make checks to "The Parenting Adventure" and send to:  Beth Smith, 44306 Road 786, Broken Bow, NE 68822, by August 31st.  For more information call 308-872-6250 or email

Thursday Women's Bible Study

Special Offering

We will be taking a special offering next Sunday, August 12th, to help Pastor Luther Eatman and his wife, Lanita, be able to go on the trip to Israel in 2020.  If donating by check, please make the check payable to BB-EFC and put "Eatmans - Israel" on the memo line.

Sunday School Round-Up

Will be on Sunday, August 19th, beginning at 9:15 AM, with a Cowboy Breakfast and Fellowship followed by an introductory class from 10:00-10:30 AM in the Challenge Center.  All families with kids are invited to come.  There are separate classes for Preschool, K-2, 3-5, Middle School and High School, and Parents.  Nursery care will be available.  Learn about the Bible and how it apples to our lives.

If you would like to become a member of BB-EFC or explore what membership is about, please join us on Wednesday, August 15th, and Wednesday, August 29th, at 7:00 PM in Room 101 (kitchen) in the Challenge Center.  Pastor Tim and Dan Anderson will be leading this class.

Celebrate Recovery

Come join us on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM in the Challenge Center.  Recovery addresses all types of habits, hurts, and hang-ups.  Some recovery groups only focus on substance issues...Recovery covers a wide umbrella of issues.  Recovery focuses on the simple most important fact of healling:  recovering the right relationship with Jesus Christ!  Everything in Celebrate Recovery emphasizes spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ!  If you have questions please call Pastor Tim at the church.

Men's Bible Study

#1 - "40 Days of Love"  Larry Coleman leads this class in Room A.

#2 - Going through the book of Exodus..  Dan Anderson leads this class in Room B.

#3 - Going through the book of Revelation.  Garry Squier leads this class in the Conference Room.

#4 - Building Your Home Around Biblical Truth.  This is a class on marriage and parenting for parents and grandparents.  Pastor Tim and Sherri Peterson are leading this class in the Challenge Center.
